Our team’s expertise lies at the intersection of Human Centered Design (HCD) and Implementation Science. We’re happy to support your work, which often involves one (or more) of the following supports:
Pre‑Grant Submission: Human Centered Design Process Planning and Method Selection
We can support investigators in integrating HCD methods into research and practice grant proposals. This includes refining research and design questions, selecting appropriate user‑centered methods, and planning stakeholder engagement, analysis, and iterative design activities. The goal is to ensure proposed design methods are rigorous, feasible, and clearly communicated to reviewers.
Post–Award Consulting: Guidance on Implementing Human Centered Design methods
We can provide consultation to help research teams implement HCD methods during funded projects. Support may include troubleshooting methods, improving data quality, guiding analysis of design research, and translating insights into design decisions. This service helps teams effectively carry out iterative design and testing processes.
Post–Award Implementation: Conducting Human Centered Design Work with your Project Team
Our Center staff and faculty can partner with your teams to conduct HCD activities as part of a funded project. We may lead or co‑lead user research, stakeholder engagement, usability testing, analysis, and synthesis of findings. This hands‑on support ensures human‑centered design methods are applied rigorously and inform project outcomes.
