You can sign up for our UW ALACRITY Center community email distribution list (listserv). Emails come from community members, and include occasional updates about the ALACRITY Center’s work, upcoming talks, and upcoming bootcamps, as well as information about related opportunities at UW and beyond.

Guidance on posting

We welcome posts about talks and training opportunities at the University of Washington and beyond, grant or funding opportunities that may be of interest to ALACRITY Center affiliates, employment opportunities, updates about ALACRITY Center projects (promote your new paper!), conference or training opportunities, calls papers, articles of interest, and similar posts.

Please keep in mind that this list has more than one hundred members. Occasional questions, of broad interest to the ALACRITY Center community, are also welcome. If posting a question, we encourage you to ask respondents to reply to you and then share back out an aggregation of what you learned in a follow up email to the list.

Additionally, if the exchange becomes more personal or more specific than of broad interest to the group, please continue the conversation off-list.

Note: When you first sign up, your posts will be set to moderated. This means someone in the center needs to approve your post before it goes out. So, if you are unsure about posting or worried about emailing too broadly, it’s okay to post and if we think the message is not of interest to the center overall, we might reach out to suggest other channels for sharing.
